Cucumbers are made up of 95 percent water, naturally low in calories, fat, cholesterol and sodium. Its a good sources of phytonutrients such as flavonoids, lignans & triterpenes which has antioxidant, anti inflammatory and anti- cancer properties.Vitamin K in cucumbers is essential in the blood clotting process.By inhibiting activity of pro-inflammatory enzymes cox-2 it helps to control inflammation.
